Power-One manufactures its Aurora-Uno inverters in Phoenix, Arizona. The design of the American-made Power-One inverters allows solar arrays facing in different directions can now feed into the same Aurora-Uno inverter. Previously, two inverters were needed to accommodate separate solar panels facing east and west, as an example. By eliminating the extra inverter, Power-One has reduced the overall cost of the solar system to the homeowner. Most importantly, the “transformerless” Aurora-Uno inverters from Power-One are 30-40 pounds lighter than traditional inverters, making installations quicker and easier. All of Power-One’s residential inverters come with a 10-year warranty.
